Leave No MAN Behind!!!

Posted by Grace Revolution on October 22, 2008

The Word says that we are to be Accountable:

1. To God. Mk 6:30, Lk 9:10, Roms 14:10-11

2. To out brothers and sisters. Mk 6:30, Lk 9:10, Acts 14:27, James 5:16, 1Jn 1:7, Pr 11:24;15:22

I just recently went to a men’s conference and where they encouraged us men to rise up and take the lead in their families. Statistics say that if a man gets saved in the family, there is a greater chance that the whole family will come to know the Lord than if the wife or children get saved and tried to lead the family to the Lord.

In most churches you will find that there is more woman than man in the church, why is that?

The whole theme was like an Army of God, the whole praise and worship music team was all men in army clothes! The motto was, “Leave no man behind!”

The church of God is an Army and there is job to be done!

Although I did find somethings to be quiet legalistic and I tried not to let it put me off because I knew there were some good principles to get out of it and ‘chuck out the bones’. But we can apply these truths in grace not under legalism or condemnation.

The fact is men need mingle with other men to encourage one another and keep each other accountable.

Men were created to Lead, Provide and Protect their families. Forget about ‘health and safety’, men were created for adventure and to take risks.

When we talk about accountability, many fear legalism and that’s right. But it doesn’t have to be condemning and legalistic, but what I’m really talking about is deeper relationships in the church among men and talking about important issues in life.

Here is a list of questions that you could possible use to encourage the men, it’s bascially a list of things you can discuss on a regular basis such as set aside a time weekly:

1. Have you been struggling with legalism and condemnation this week? If so encourage & remind them about God’s Grace.

2. How is God in your life?

3. How’s work?

4. How’s your family?

5. How’s your health?

6. Have you looked at indescent material this week?

7. Have you been acting improperly towards the opposite sex?

8. Is there any sins you would like to confess?

9. Do you have any unresolved relational issues with anyone that needs to be solved?

10. Is there any advice, questions you would like to ask?

11. What are you doing about the talents, dreams God has given you?

12. Is there anything you could encourage me for?

13. Is there anything you could speak into my life for?

14. Is there anything I could pray for you for?

15. Thank them for being vulnerable with you.

What do you think?

isn’t it time that we talk about deeper issues in church rather than a shallow ‘How are you?’ on a sunday morning?

WILL You fight for FREEDOM!! (Quote)

Posted by Grace Revolution on October 10, 2008

If you are in God’s army, why do you fear the things of this world?

Sons and daughters of God Almighty, you  have no idea of the POWER that is IN You.

God sees His Own country man and woman of old that belongs to Him here on earth in DEFIANCY, you have come to live this life following Jesus as FREE Man and Woman, FREE sons and daughters, and FREE indeed You ARE.

What will you do without Freedom?!?     Will you fight?

But not in the world’s sense of fighting, fighting in the sense of the Spiritual that is going on that’s enslaving so many, fighting with the power of Love and Mercy.

Will you Fight?

You have choice, fight and you may die, run and you may live…

At least a while, and dying in your beds many years from now,

would you be willing to trade all the days from today for just that one chance, just ONE CHANCE,

to speak over all that is evil and say,

“you may take our lives but you’ll never take our FREEDOM!!!!!!”

PRAISE THE LORD GOD ALMIGHTY WHO SITS ON THE THRONE ABOVE ALL THRONES, NAME ABOVE ALL NAMES!!!

When did Jesus forgive us ALL our sins, Part 2

Posted by Grace Revolution on October 6, 2008

This is going to completely revolutionise the way I share the Gospel with people. In the past I would go up to people with little clarity, and tell them that Jesus died for their sins and use the law to explain what sin is. And encourage them to believe in Jesus who died for their sins to be forgiven.

But since this revelation I’m taking a different approach.

Colossians 2:13 And even though you were dead in your 1 transgressions and in the uncircumcision of your flesh, he nevertheless 2 made you alive with him, having FORGIVEN ALL your transgressions.

ALL” means “ALL!” It is past tense, approximately 2000 years ago, Jesus already forgave us all our sins- past present and future!

Paul was talking to believers saying that all their sins- past, present and future have already been forgiven when Jesus died on the Cross.

Hebrews 9:12 and he entered once for all into the most holy place not by the blood of goats and calves but by his own blood, and so he himself secured 16 eternal redemption.

Hebrews 10:14 because by one sacrifice he has made perfect FOREVER those who are being made holy.

Hebrews 7:23-25

And the otherswho became priests were numerous, because death prevented themfrom continuing in office, but he holds his priesthood permanently since he lives forever. So he is able to save completely those who come to God through him, because he always lives to intercede for them.

It’s not like the Old Covenant when people had to offer sacrifice for their past and present sins, week after week months after months to cover this sins of this week and the sins fo this month etc…

That’s why they needed many sacrifices because it couldn’t cover future sins.

But when Jesus came, by One Sacrifice He had made us Perfect FOREVE… Once and for ALL

He made us perfect FOREVER indicating that our FUTURE sins have been forgiven!

Once for ALL indicating that He died Once to pay for sins of All time compared to OT sacrifices Many deaths for all time.

He died Once to cover our future sins as well so we could be made perfect FOREVER (indicating future sins wiped out) and Once and for All (indicating for all time there be no need for further sacrifices because He was the Final Ultimate Sacrifice that could cover ALL sin in just One Sacrifice).

When sharing the Gospel, I would say to an unbeliever that…

Mankind walked in perfect companionship with our Creator until our crime separated us from Him.

Then Jesus’ Sacrifice changed God’s way of relating to us. Instead of punishing us, he judged all our trespasses on King Jesus- our lying, cheating, stealing, immorality etc…

We deserved nothing but wrath and hell. God loved us so much He extended mercy and grace to rebellious planet earth and set us free from all debt.

There is no more judgment for your but the sin of unbelief.

Disbelief is the root of all sin. Stealing, you don’t believe God will provide for you. Adultery, you don’t believe that the wife God gave you is enough. Revenge, you don’t believe vengeance belongs to God.

God is not here to condemn or judge you to everlasing punishment. God doesn’t send anyone to hell but saves them from hell. People only go there by choice if they reject the message about the King’s Love and offer of everlasting life. 6

God is Merciful & Graceful Father who wants to reunite us to Him!

Understand + Believe = Forgiveness + Everlasting life + Reunion

How God relates to an unbeliever before death:

1)He sees you Already forgiven of past present and future sins through Jesus death 2000 years ago.

2)He’s not here to condemn or judge you for all your sins because He already judged it on Jesus and He is just and cannot judge the same sin twice- the law of double jeopardy

3)He sees you with His arms reached out already; all you have to do is reach out your arms in faith and you will be reconnected to Him. He has already done everything He can, is upto you to believe what He has already done and Receive it.

4)The only sin He will judge you for is the sin of unbelief which is the same as Blasphemy against the Holy Spirit.

Colossians 3:13 bearing with one another and forgiving one another, if someone happens to have a complaint against anyone else. Just as the Lord has forgiven (PAST TENSE) you, so you also forgive others.

We can forgive because He already forgave us.
