BBE translations.

Welcome to the House of wine 24/7, where there is Non-stop drinking of His love, Joy and grace!!!

How to be filled and drunk with the Love and Joy of the Spirit of Jesus all day long, effortlessly? Ephesians 5:18

Hebrews 11- living by faith, does ANYTHING makes SENSE??

Please refer to Hebrews 11.

You know how sometimes, when the Holy Spirit inspires you, speaks to you or leads you to do something that doesnt’ make sense??
I was reading Hebrews 11 this morning, and was suprise to find that ‘living by faith’ is the very opposite of ‘living by common sense/judgement’.
If we are listening to the Holy Spirit, prompted by Him and resting in His guiding, then our lives ‘won’t make sense’.

V6. “and without faith it is Impossible to please Him, for whoever draw near to God must believe that He Exists and that He Rewards those who seek Him.”

Just some examples
(v.7) what makes sense about Noah building an ark to save his family from a huge flood?? no one has ever seen any rain before in the history of mankind, no one has ever built a boat before and no one has ever seen a flood. God tells him to build an ark because the world is going to be drown- Noah had to trust in God Who saw the bigger picture and live by faith.

(V.8-11) What made sense about Abram going to a place he’s never been to before?? Abram was an unbeliever, worshipping false gods, then all of a sudden God Almighty appears to him for the First Time and speaks to him to leave his family and goto a place where he doesn’t know where he is going?? i dont’ even know You O God, and you just suddenly appear to me, not to my family, but only me, and tell me get going to somewhere you will show me?? (and these guys didnt’ have GPS, google maps, cell phones) and God tells him “I will bless you and you will be a blessing to all nations through your offspriing”. Sarah was pretty old, what makes sense about that? but God is able to do exceeding more abundantly than all we ask or imagine

(V.17-19) What made sense about sacrificing Abraham’s only son Isaac whom God promised to through Isaac your offspring will outnumber the number of sands on the seashore??? God told Abraham in Genesis 22 to sacrifice your only son Isaac!! but God didint give Abraham, Isaac the promised son, how can you kill him now?? God tests Abraham to bring about a prophetic picture of New Testament of Jesus, the Only Son of God being sacrificed on our behalve for our sins, and Abrahams was obedient to His Voice, and God blessed him. Abraham didint’ make sense of it all but just trusted in the Invisible One. He knew His Voice.

These people of faith pursued after the Voice of God, they lived for Him even when it didint’ make sense. They didnt’ live for ‘a church programs/ideas’, they lived for God. They didnt’ put God in a box(imagine a size of shoebox)- but God is outside of that box!

Colossians 2:19
“and not holding fast to the Head, from Whom the whole body, nourished and knit togather through its joints and ligaments, grows with a growth that is from God.”

They held fast to the Head, then the body became joined togather. God comes first then others
Live for God and He Will build His Church (called out ones)- unless the Lord builds the House, those who build it labour in vain Ps 127, all we called to do is “Seek His Kingdom” and He will do the Rest. Let Him build His Church, His Way the Way He wants to do it.
Let us be joined to Him, He must come First not us or any other man.

Bless you

Redeemed from the Curse of the Law, MP3 audio

Yesterday was sharing a message to a group of believers about how God spoke to me about on Galatians 3:13 about Christ redeeming us from the curse of the law so that we might receive the blessing given to Abraham.

Here is a quick list of the notes and I will update it again soon in more detail- i made a couple of small mistakes in my talk.

Feel free to give any feedback, questions, challenges and answers because it helps us all to grow and expand our understanding of the truth.

Galatians 3 10 But those who depend on the law to make them right with God are under his curse, for the Scriptures say, “Cursed is everyone who does not observe and obey all the commands that are written in God’s Book of the Law.”*11 So it is clear that no one can be made right with God by trying to keep the law. For the Scriptures say, “It is through faith that a righteous person has life.”*12 This way of faith is very different from the way of law, which says, “It is through obeying the law that a person has life.”* 13 But Christ has rescued us from the curse pronounced by the law. When he was hung on the cross, he took upon himself the curse for our wrongdoing. For it is written in the Scriptures, “Cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree.”*14 Through Christ Jesus, God has blessed the Gentiles with the same blessing he promised to Abraham, so that we who are believers might receive the promised* Holy Spirit through faith.
Deuteronomy 2123 the body must not remain hanging from the tree overnight. You must bury the body that same day, for anyone who is hung* is cursed in the sight of God. In this way, you will prevent the defilement of the land the LORD your God is giving you as your special possession.

Obedience to the law results in blessings Deut 28:1-14

Disobedience to the law results in horrible curses Deut 28:15-68

Law is one unit

James 2 10 For the person who keeps all of the laws except one is as guilty as a person who has broken all of God’s laws.11 For the same God who said, “You must not commit adultery,” also said, “You must not murder.”* So if you murder someone but do not commit adultery, you have still broken the law.

In our day, what else can the ‘law’ refer to?
The ‘law’ not only stands for the Mosaic law, but it can also stand for church laws/traditions, denominations laws, or any requirements you put on yourself in order to obtain righteousness before God, right standing before God.

What is legalism? or does it mean to be ‘living under the law’?
i.e. if you don’t do this or dont’ do that, then God won’t love you anymore and He will be angry with you. God will only love you if you do this and that- conditional love.

What is the purpose of the Law?

-To reveal sin.

Romans 3 19 Obviously, the law applies to those to whom it was given, for its purpose is to keep people from having excuses, and to show that the entire world is guilty before God.20 For no one can ever be made right with God by doing what the law commands. The law simply shows us how sinful we are.

-To Stirup sin. Romans 7:8-13; 1 Corinthians 15:56

-To stop the mouth. Romans 3:19-20

-To lead us to Christ. Galatians 3:24

Are Christians under the old covenant law?

No. We live by the Spirit by Faith in Christ’s blood, we don’t live by external rules and laws written on tablets of stone but an inward guiding of the Holy Spirit of Grace that doesn’t bring any condemnation, guilty or curse but brings freedom and spontaneity.

Galatians 2:19; 5:18

Romans 6:14; 7:4

1 Timothy 1:8-11

We live by faith in Christ and we are made right with God through a Gift.

Galatians 2:20

Romans 3:21-26

Genesis 15:6; Habakuk 2:4

God swore an oath to never be angry with us again

Isaiah 54:9-10;43:25, Hebrews 8:8-13

We overcome the devil, the accuser of our brothers and sisters by the blood of Jesus given to us by God because God is FOR us not against us!! He is our Defender not our accuser!!

The blessings will Run after you, Part 1

Does God wants to bless us??

Of course He does!! The bible tells us so.

Will the blessings run after us? Yes, we don’t have to run after them but they will run after us.

The reason why we have to asks such a question is because the church has been filled with such negative thoughts about us that He likes to punish His Children.

John 1:16. For we have all received from his fullness one gracious gift after another.

Galatians 3:13-14 Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us (because it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”) in order that in Christ Jesus the blessing of Abraham would come to the Gentiles, so that we could receive the promise of the Spirit by faith.

2 Corinthians 1:20 For every one of God’s promises are “Yes” in him; therefore also through him the “Amen” is spoken, to the glory we give to God.

This truth is the key to understanding the gift of righteousness, declared righteous and innocent before God by faith.

If you don’t believe God wants to bless you, then you won’t be able to understand and live in the goodness of the Doctrine of Justification by Faith.

Read Deuteronomy 28 and personalise the blessings for yourself daily and reject the curses. God wants to bless us more than we ask or imagine because we are his children. I’m not necessarily talking about material possessions but it could come in various forms such as daily necessisities, relationships, health, spiritual gifts and anythings pertaining to the Kingdom of God.

So why we don’t always seem to living in the blessings so that the unsaved would envy us?

It’s because we don’t think we are good enough, not righteous enough, haven’t worked hard enough.

That’s why when God wants to bless us, we say, “NO God, don’t do it. I’m not good enough!! I don’t deserve it!”

Do you think we deserve to be blessed anyway? Or do you think Jesus deserved the blessings for us? And God gives us what we don’t deserve anyway?

Learn to say “Yes” to God when He wants to pour out blessings on you. Look for opportunities for God to bless you. Anticipate to be blessed daily in different ways. For from Him comes one blessing after another.

In Genesis 12, God said to Abrahm “ I want to bless you.” Abraham believed God and it was credited to him as Righteous. Abraham was declared Righteous because he trusted that God wanted to bless him when it had nothing to do with his obedience.

Faith is when we believe God wants to bless us even when we don’t deserve it.

‘To be declared righteous by faith OR the just shall live by faith’ means that we believe that God wants to bless us even though we haven’t done anything to deserve.

Say, “Thankyou” and throw yourself righteousness away and count it as dung. You’ll never be perfect to earn even just one blessings anyway.

Daily say to God, “Thankyou, thankyou for your blessings that’s going to come today. I receive everyone of them because I believe You are good and it has nothing to do with my performance.”

Think like this, “because of Jesus perfect record and the gift of righteouness, God wants to bless me in every area of life. It is God’s will for me to blessed.”

Look at the different areas in your life that’s lacking the blessings of God and Believe and Receive today your daily inheritance.

Ephesians 1:18 – since the eyes of your 1 heart have been enlightened – so that you may know what is the hope of his calling, what is the wealth of his glorious inheritance in the saints,
